AI help for Durham small businesses, in person
Quick answer: Pinelever is a one-person AI consultant serving Durham, NC. I come to your business, set up AI on the work that eats your week, and train your team on it. Then I move on, and you own it.
Durham runs on independent businesses: restaurants and coffee shops downtown and along Ninth Street, shops in Brightleaf and around the old tobacco warehouses, property managers renting to students and hospital staff, and small professional firms that serve all of them. I help those businesses put AI to work, in person, on the work that eats their week.
I'm a one-person practice based in the Triangle. I come to your place, watch how the work gets done, and either build a small tool for it or train your team to use AI well. Then I stay available when something needs fixing.
What Durham businesses usually ask me about
- Restaurants, cafés and bars: catering and private-event inquiries answered faster, weekly specials and posts drafted, supplier emails and invoices sorted.
- Shops and makers: product descriptions, customer emails, and holiday-rush questions handled without the owner writing every reply.
- Property managers: maintenance requests turned into work orders and tenant replies drafted on-policy. (See the property management example.)
- Small professional firms: inboxes triaged, documents summarized, and client follow-ups drafted for a person to check.
These are typical requests, not client stories. When I have Durham clients who agree to be named, they'll go here.
How it works
1. Kickstart. Half a day at your Durham location. I start on the quickest win right away, and you get a fixed-price plan within 5 business days. Its cost comes off anything you do next. How the Kickstart works →
2. Build or train. Custom tools at a fixed price, or hands-on team training by the half or full day.
3. Then I move on. You own what I built, and I'm a text away if something new comes up.
Why in person matters
I come to your place and watch how your front desk actually handles a Friday afternoon. That's usually where the best quick win is.
